With an approximate area of 1.6 million square kilometers, Iran encompasses a wide range of habitats influenced by three major biogeographic realms: Oriental, Palearctic, and Ethiopian. This ecological diversity has positioned Iran as a significant hotspot for avian biodiversity, with 551 bird species recorded by 2015, including the Indian Paradise Flycatcher (Terpsiphone paradisi). The present study aims to analyze records of the Indian Paradise Flycatcher, a migratory bird species observed in Iran. Data were obtained from birdwatching platforms such as eBird and the Iranian Bird Records Committee using relevant keywords including “Indian Paradise Flycatcher” and “distribution.” The dataset was cleaned by eliminating incorrect or duplicate entries and subsequently categorized by year, season, location, and sex of the birds. Spatial analysis was conducted using ArcGIS software (version 10.8) to generate distribution maps, while graphical representations such as bar and pie charts were produced using Microsoft Excel (version 2013).The results indicate that the species is primarily observed in southern parts of Iran, particularly in Mellat Park, Minab, with most sightings occurring during the colder seasons. Continued monitoring is recommended to enhance understanding of the species’ migratory patterns and habitat preferences.
