Lake Havir, as a unique and vital aquatic ecosystem with rich biodiversity and significant environmental, economic, and social values, plays a key role in maintaining ecological balance and meeting the needs of local communities. This lake, which is considered one of the most important natural resources in the region, is threatened by human activities, including urbanization, agriculture, and irresponsible tourism. Generally, the pressures from human activities on aquatic ecosystems have led to a reduction in the hydrological, economic, and environmental functions of wetlands, and the continuation of this trend could have irreversible consequences for the health of the environment and local communities. In order to protect Lake Hoyer and enhance the status of its associated ecosystems, several recommendations have been proposed, including the development and implementation of sustainable management programs, conducting regular scientific research to collect quantitative and qualitative data, raising public awareness, and encouraging local community participation in conservation programs, as well as designing sustainable tourism initiatives. The implementation of these measures will not only aid in preserving and improving the state of the lake but also safeguard its environmental and social values for future generations while ensuring the continuity and health of the ecosystem in the region.
