Assessment and evaluation are two independent concepts with diverse application scopes in different sciences. At first glance, the concepts of assessment and evaluation may be used interchangeably and there is not much difference between them, but in fact, these two terms have important differences from a scientific point of view, which are necessary to understand in order to conduct detailed research and studies. However, everywhere their basic concept is the same and related to comparing for decision making, but the field of time intervention and performance indicators of each one is different
