Abstract

Today, we know that the land of Iran, due to its climatic diversity and the emergence of habitats surrounded by the Alborz and Zagros Mountains, is rich in the number and variety of reptile species, many of which are found exclusively in Iran and still, Every year, with the expansion of studies on this biological category, new species from Iran are described or new observations are reported that improve our level of knowledge of this animal collection.
