Due to their restricted distribution, they possess high conservation value and play a key role in preserving biodiversity. The blind cave fish, with the scientific name Iranocypris typhlops, is an endemic and endangered species of Iran that is found exclusively in the Blind Cave Fish Cave located in Khorramabad County, Lorestan Province. According to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Red List, this species is classified as Vulnerable. Despite its uniqueness, the habitat of this species faces human threats (such as pollution, overharvesting, and habitat change) and natural threats (such as climate change). The destruction of its habitat would lead to the complete extinction of this species. Therefore, a deeper understanding of the ecology and conservation status of this species and the threats it faces is essential to prevent its extinction. This research was conducted using documentary methods and library resource reviews to investigate the species’ conservation status, ecological characteristics, and threats, and to provide management solutions for its protection. The results of this study show that the simultaneous implementation of strict control policies, in-depth environmental research, effective stakeholder participation, and education of local communities can play an effective role in the survival of this species. گونه‌های اندمیک، گونه‌هایی هستند که پراکنش جغرافیایی‌شان به یک منطقه یا کشور محدود می‌شود و به دلیل انحصاری بودن، از ارزش حفاظتی بالایی برخوردارند و نقش کلیدی در حفظ تنوع‌زیستی ایفا می‌کنند. ماهی کور غار با نام علمی <em>Iranocypris typhlops</em>، یکی از گونه‌های اندمیک و در معرض خطر انقراض ایران است که منحصراً در غار ماهی کور واقع در شهرستان خرم‌آباد، استان لرستان، یافت می‌شود. براساس فهرست قرمز اتحادیه بین‌المللی حفاظت از طبیعت (IUCN)، این گونه در وضعیت آسیب‌پذیر طبقه‌بندی شده است. زیستگاه این گونه، به رغم منحصربه‌فرد بودن، با تهدیدات انسانی (مانند آلودگی، برداشت بیش از حد جمعیت و تغییر در زیستگاه) و طبیعی (مانند تغییرات اقلیمی) مواجه است و نابودی آن، به انقراض کامل این گونه منجر خواهد شد. بنابراین، شناخت عمیق‌تر بوم‌شناسی و وضعیت حفاظتی و تهدیداتی که این گونه با آن مواجه است، برای پیشگیری از انقراض آن ضروری است. این پژوهش با هدف بررسی وضعیت حفاظتی، بوم‌شناسی، تهدیدات و ارائه راهبردهای مدیریتی به‌منظور حفاظت از آن، با استفاده از روش اسنادی و مرور منابع کتابخانه‌ای انجام شده است. نتایج این پژوهش نشان می­دهد که اجرای هم‌زمان سیاست‌های کنترلی سخت‌گیرانه، پژوهش‌های عمیق محیط‌زیستی، جلب مشارکت مؤثر ذی‌نفعان و آموزش جوامع محلی می‌تواند نقش مؤثری در بقای این گونه ایفا کند. https://biosepehrsj.ut.ac.ir/article_102398_2f006152f418969a5d417149110f2f99.pdf
